This is why i like to write…I tend to write a lot i used to just let my voice tear down on my blog.  Hitting with hard emotional words.  Expressing the deepest emotions with a twist to confused the mind so they wouldn’t totally understand.  I’am too abstract….But between lines its there…

This is @Epidemik first appearance back on the scene after a one year hiatus, with a guest appearance by Hot Topic aka @LEGENDARIEL.  With this release he plans on hitting the game with a different strategy.  Most of his projects contains a concept behind it.  Keep a look out for the Artist that he supports Bags, Jumz, J.E.A, Prosice, and more.

Sat down with Kel Spencer today and interviewed him for the Epidemik Experience.  It was a dope interview.  I also learned about a new plugin to use on this episode and if you listen to an older episode you can see the difference.  I learned a lot during this interview and I gained some more influences.  Reblog it is you like it, so check it out!!

Supreme -the highest rank of Authority, Highest Degree, Power and Quality. Nyemiah Monet “Supreme’” Streeter was born and raised as a Performer on July 15, 1988 In Jamaica Queens Nyc. As the Only Child her parents put her in creative activities such as Dance School, Karate and BasketBall. She excelled the most in dancing and went on to make a career out of it. She went on to Background dance for Recording Artist Remy Ma’ & Touring with Jive Recording Artist Lil’ Mama on Chris Brown’s UCP tour 07-08. Supreme always had a love for music especially Hip Hop. She was offered a Personal Assistant Job to Def Jam Recording Artist Juelz Santana and took it. Being around Music encouraged her to fulfill her own dream of making music. Her goal in the Music Industry is to make a positive impact by not only being a female artist but an artist in it’s self.

For some, the rocky road to success isnt easy to navigate. Take Queens native BAG$™ for instance. After working for years writing, changing producers, and waiting on his manager, BAG$™ noticed no one was going to help him as much as himself. Thanks to the popularity of his “B!T©H I’M A STAR™ imprint, Queens Hispanic scene would never be the same.

Raised with his brother in South Jamaica Queens, BAG$™ learned at a young age how to improve upon the not so perfect conditions around him. “My mother always said I used to setup stands and always try to sell somebody something, whatever it was” says the rapper born Angel Melo. “My father worked extremely hard to get what he has, so that work ethic was instilled in me since young. I knew that anything I wanted to get I had to work for.”

After graduating from high school, BAG$™ dabbled in drugs and started to see money roll in slowly, which prompted him to record at various studios and doing shows which in turn forced him to miss a lot of college.

“I was doing all types of things,” says the Queens MC today. “I was going to City College, after that I’d go straight to the studio in Bk, go to sleep, be up at 8am, go to class, make some sales. I knew I wanted to do entrepreneurial things, but I was still trying to find myself. Then I focused.”

It wasn’t until a 7am call from DJ Fatfingaz in 2007 that made BAG$™ work harder. “The first thing he said was ‘yo you wrote that Who You Know Fresher joint? Cuz I’m gonna start playing it wherever I’m at,” says the 23 yr old entertainer, “He was actually playing the record everywhere, then after that all the other DJ’s started catching on.”

BAG$™ worked with Fatfingaz for the upcoming months and noticed that more dj’s were playing his song, “Once I realized that people were feeling me I just went out and hit the streets,” says the resourceful MC who recorded his hit “Who You Know Fresher” in October of ‘05. “I just started emailing the record out and going through different people and promoting. I would be passing out CDs and going out partying and making sure they [DJ’s] played my song. The buzz just started to grow and before I knew it ‘Who You Know Fresher’ was at all The Queens’ clubs.” This was when he got to work on his 2007 SuperStar Jay hosted mixtape “B!T©H I’M A STAR™.” Not being content with how the project was received by the public, BAG$™ changed his flow and reinvented a flyer, flashier artist.

With a new image and flow, BAG$™ got to work on his 2008 release of “B!T©H I’M A STAR 2: The Corporate Takeover.” Tracks like “Lose Control” and “Raining Money,” show you where the “new” BAG$™ is headed. That seems to be for the charts. “How To Rob A Dj” finds the Queens artist remaking 50 Cents’ debut single “How To Rob A Industry Ni**a.” While “Touch The Fiends” and “Bring Em Out Dead” offers a glimpse of the streets, “Brother Under The Sun” outlines this lyricists loyalty to his crew. With the majority of the recording handled by Platinum Mic Studios, The Corporate Takeover is sure to knock heads nationwide.

A tireless work ethic and the B!T©H I’M A STAR following, continues to help BAG$™build a future through his love of creating music. “I’m a workaholic,” says BAG$. “For the next few years I’m going to go harder than any other artist. There’s no other choice for me, this isn’t a hobby, its my way out.” Spoken like a true star.
